Kemi Nelson, Jumoke Okoya Thomas In Public Brawl At Party Secretariat

Yesterday, Monday, August 27, 2018, estranged party members Kemi Nelson and Jumoke Okoya Thomas deepened animosity for each other.

The members of the ruling All Progressives Congress engaged in a public brawl.

Societynow.ng learned the development transpired at the state Secretariat of the party.

Though the immediate cause of this particular occurrence is yet to be confirmed, information monitored on newsheadline247.com alleged Nelson stormed the place with six men in tow.

Okoya Thomas was said to be in a meeting with state party chairman Tunde Balogun and other executives when Nelson arrived.

The chain of the event after Nelson’s arrival reportedly resulted in injury to Okoya Thomas’ Personal Assistant Alhaji Abiodun.

Jumoke Okoya Thomas took over the position of Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos state from Kemi Nelson.

She resisted moves by Nelson to install the deputy women leader.

Okoya Thomas was yet to finish savoring her victory when Nelson was elevated to the position of South West Women leader days later.

The development further intensified the supremacy war between the two politicians.

Societynow.ng gathered the feud between the two women has root in days when Okoya Thomas’ profile as a three-term Federal House of Representatives member dwarfed that of Nelson who was a two-term commissioner in Lagos state.
