Those conversant with his ways have revealed the parts of Lagos state, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu loves to attend events.

The chatter in the corridor of power revealed that this is an open secret among favor seekers that are involved in events management.
“Those with ties in proper places know that to get Sanwo-Olu to attend an event, the rule of thumb as it regards the Governor is to stage it in Victoria island and Ikoyi” insiders insist.
Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat is said to cover events that largely require the Governor’s attendance outside areas the specified – particularly “the mainland.”
SocietyNow.Ng gathered that this “observation” about the Governor’s preferences regarding events was established in the first term of the 58-year-old, despite the staggered and crippling challenges of Covid-19 and ENDSARS protests.
Sanwo-Olu’s exemplary performance – fueled by the workings of an ingenious cabinet – during these spells cemented his status as “capable”.
He was re-elected by a landslide on March 18, 2023, after putting in extra work in the extended periond for campaign in the face of the scare thrown up by the his party’s loss of the Presidential election in Lagos.
The Governor is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
