Insiders insist that judging by the ways things are shaping up, Babajide Sanwo-Olu may end up the most successful governor of Lagos state in recent times.

Societynow.ng gathered that this assertion is based on Sanwo-Olu’s approach to governance.

Governor Sanwo-Olu is described as a very good listener and takes advice from many quarters.

‘’He is open to advise and encourages his people to open up about what they feel about issues, happenings and what should be done’’ a source stated.

Societynow.ng, however, gathered that Sanwo-Olu’s strongest point is that he seeks the input, clarification, and validation from an experienced player who has served in the same capacity before him and leveraged on the position to greater things – Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu – before taking decisions.

Societynow.ng gathered Sanwo-Olu makes it a point of duty – and  routine – to go see Tinubu for ‘’clarity’’ onissueues and ‘’guidance’’  and ‘’proper direction’’ before making his moves as part of efforts not to misstep In the process of building a worthy legacy.

Tinubu, a major factor in the process that threw up Sanwo-Olu as the governor of Lagos state is said to be providing ‘’invaluable tips’’ that the immediate past administration of Akinwunmi Ambode lacked – and made it ended up in ‘’infamy’’.

The further checks made by societynow.ng, however, revealed that Sanwo-Olu may be getting his politics and direction of his government right with the Tinubu’s advice, it certainly comes at a cost in some quarters  – especially as regards his image.

‘’There are still some that labeled him kindergarten governor taking instructions from daddy, governor in name and all sorts of derisive monkers but Sanwo-Olu obviously does not mind as he seeks to build a legacy that will rank him amongst the very best, if not the best with his achievements” a source stated.
