Those who should insist former Senator Tokunbo Odebiyi remain loyal to Ibikunle Amosun, the leader of the political structure he belongs to.

The clarification comes amid speculations over Governor Dapo Abiodun attending his event.

Amosun and Abiodun, formerly friends, are presently night and day in an intense political supremacy tussle that started ahead of the 2019 election that gave the Governor his first term.

On Saturday, July 6, 2024, the former Senator hosted a high-profile traditional wedding ceremony between his daughter, Ayotola and Muktar, the son of celebrated business woman, Bola Shagaya at the Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Governor Abiodun was one of the notable guests that had Vice President, Kashim Shettima and other top level politicians and high-networth persons in attendance.

Abiodunś attendance sparked off different speculations depending on who is providing the narration – with unverified claims of budding rapport, new allegiance sprouting up.

Insiders, however, insist that the relationship between the former Senator and Governor remains as it was before the ceremony – each keeping faith with what he believes in despite being in the same political party, All Progressives Congress (APC).

Odebiyi remains a firm Amosun loyalists while Abiodun maintains status as leader of the his group with no meeting point with Amosun at present according to those in the know.

Amosun, a former two-term Governor of Ogun state and former Senator representing Ogun Central,was also at the Odebiyiś daughterś wedding.

The former Governor reportedly played a prominent role with his wife, Olufunso, a star attraction in the role of offering prayer for the bride.

On his part, Abiodun reportedly attended the event as the host governor to Vice President Kashim Shettima, was less conspicuous and with his face averted in some of the pictures that found there into the social media space.
