On saturday October 27 2012- Fuji music super star, Wasiu Alabi more widely known as Pasuma was the subject of fans hate.

He was attacked by fans and had his top range automobile- Range Rover jeep vandalised.

According to a source ‘the wind screen was smashed and dents recorded here there’

The incident happened in Ifelodun area of Kwara state.

Pasuma was in his hometown for engagements as part of Eid Ei Kabir celebration.

The attack was reportedly sparked off over a spurious talk about ‘manner of performance’

But an insider revealed ‘it is ridiculous for any body to pick fight with Pasuma, over talks of not performing well at this stage of his career. It is simply an excuse to fulfil a hidden agenda’

It is alleged the incident is part of the plot of deepening and unravelling quarrel with leader of his brand of music, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal.

Supporters of the Fuji lord are believed to be, behind the attack in angst against Pasuma for disloyalty against their Idol.

‘They have started removing the vestige of protection he enjoys with his association with Wasiu’ a source claimed.

Pasuma just went public with assertions that, he wants to be a man apart- out of the shadow of Fuji king, Wasiu Ayinde.

He disowned one of his claims to fame and pointer to intimate rapport with Wasiu, the ‘Arabambi 2’ tittle to show his seriousness.

Wasiu Ayinde is known and recognised as Arabambi 1- while Pasuma styled himself Arabambi 2 and was adopted and treated as such.

Investigations by societynowng.com however revealed- the root cause of the current face off is that, contrary to wide spread believe, Pasuma didnot enjoy the true gains of his position.

Maintained a source ‘ the long and short of it is that, he came to the realisation that… the tittle is not even worth the name…nothing more’

Sources claimed he expected to gain as much performances in goverment and corporate sectors as Wasiu with the association- but he couldn’t.

A clear indication to this is the fact that Wasiu is the official performer at engagements that concern Political Party, Action Congress of Nigeria.

But despite their closeness- Pasuma never made it into the favoured musician list of the party- even when he outrightly lobbied on stage at a private soiree for a chieftain of the party.

He was forced to perform for rival party, People’s Democratic Party in his bid to secure relevance.

‘Unknown to many, the rift had been on silently and quietly even before then’ a source said- confirming societynowng.com’s reportage last year (Wasiu Ayinde, Pasuma Quarrel)

Findings however revealed that outside of these inherent differences- the direct reason for the fall out is the 70th birthday of actress Iya Rainbow (Idowu Phillips)

Pasuma was said to have assured the ageless actress that he would stage a birthday performance for her- with Wasiu Ayinde on stage.

He was said to have perfected the arrangement- even printed invites bearing his picture, that of Wasiu and the celebrant for grand performance.

He went to Wasiu, with Iya Rainbow in tow after the deed was done.

The fuji lord promised to confirm attendance before the event- he dodged their calls after they left.

Pasuma was forced to do a fresh invitation without Kwam1’s picture few days to the event.

‘It was the pain of that treatment against the background of the disappointment on ground, that resulted in his pronouncements’ a source analysed.

He first disowned Wasiu and his Arabambi tittle on stage at Iya Rainbow’s 70th birthday bash- he later made it official media chat.

Insiders revealed since his pronouncements- fans have started pitching tents. Whether things will turn ugly with the attack on Pasuma just days after his pronouncement remain to be seen.

What makes the unfolding drama particularly interesting is that Pasuma had always sided with Wasiu in previous fights within ‘the house of Fuji’.
