A high wire plot is on.

And the target is Governor of Ogun State Dapo Abiodun.

According to those in the know plans to embarrass the Governor fondly hail as D.A (Dapo Abiodun) or P.D.A (Prince Dapo Abiodun) by those who are fond of his ways is afoot.

Societynow.ng learned that the plot is woven around Friday, May 29, when the governor – along with others – would be celebrating his first anniversary in office.

‘’The plan is to release embarrassing contents that would portray the governor as not living up to the task in his first year’’ societynow.ng learned.

Insiders disclosed the plan includes releasing snippets of the materials a couple of days to May, 29 and ensuring the circulation – far and wide –  of special materials that ‘’expose unflattering side’’ of Governor Abiodun on the D-Day.

‘’Naturally, whether the things that would be released are true, propaganda or outright falsehoods remain to be seen’’ a source pointed.

Unconfirmed sources claim some traditional media may produce free ‘’publications’’ (pull – out) to ensure the ‘’revelations’’ reach the grassroots as part of the plot.

It is believed this is a part of relentless offensive against Governor Abiodun before he took office and after.

Governor Abiodun in recent times has faced clinically orchestrated public hysteria about the slips recorded by his administration with insiders insisting things would get tough as the opposition continue to master the swirling up of public opinion against him.

But to the credit of the Governor and his team, they are have started evolving strategies that take the advantages from the opposition as seen in the ongoing open poll about whether the government should extend the lockdown – after the initial extension – in the fight against Covid-19 or not.
