Insiders finger Babatunde Fashola as one of the targets of machination to be boxed into a ministry that would make him flounder.

Societynow.ng learned that a passionate underground campaign is on to get the former governor appointed as the Minister for power.

This development is attributed to unending war that troubled his second term as the Governor of Lagos state and threatened his image as the ‘’poster boy’’ of the All Progressives Congress after office.

The follow-up plot is to get Fashola appointed into the troublesome power ministry with delayed result decorating performances.

Fashola is the immediate past minister in charge of Power, Works, and Housing.

His performance in the three ministries – on the heels of great expectations trailing accolade as Governor of Lagos state – downed his image.
