Inside Details As More Entertainers Support Asiwaju Tinubu’s Presidential Bid

South West Comedians for Tinubu (SWCT) a unique movement to beat and copy, is an initiative and strategic tool to mobilize, campaign and advocate for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (ABAT) for victory in the 2023 presidential election.

The South West Comedians for Tinubu (SWCT) is inspired by the core democratic nature of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a nationalist and bridge builder who strongly believes in the Nigerian youths and the project of one united Nigeria.

It is a broad based movement created to galvanize support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (ABAT) like never before in the history of electoral process by engaging the electorates and the youths across the South West including Kogi state and Kwara state.

This movement aims to sensitize and enlighten cerebral youths and electorates on the need to be part of the process in determining the next president in 2023.

With a grand launch planned for September 2023 in Lagos, the project is will be piloted across the South West states with free comedy shows.

Entry at each edition starting from Lagos state will be a show of PVC (Permanent Voters Card) after accreditation at the venues.

Earmarked as one of the rallying points for all supporters of progressive democracy – member or nonmember of the All Progressives Congress (APC) – the project will also offer upcoming acts to showcase their talents at each edition in support for and give back to the industry move.

The conveners are Gbenga Adeyinka D’1st, a reputable comedian and the CEO of Laughter Incorporated, Olumide Ojo, a creative graphics artist and the Managing Director of Visual Image Limited and Kanbi Owolabi, a media and event strategist and Principal Consultant of Kanbitoons Company.

“The South West Comedians for Tinubu (SWCT) movement is planned to be the new signpost for quality political education and orientation through comedy at the same time properly projecting the characters and ideals the next president of Nigeria should espouse, which all embedded in Asiwaju Tinubu, to make the nation greater,” says the Project President of the movement, Gbenga Adeyinka D’1st.
