INEC Supervisory Officer Forcefully Taken Away In Bayelsa

A supervisory officer of the election umpire, INEC has been abducted in the ongoing Bayelsa state gubernatorial election.
The Independent Electoral Commission’s supervisory presiding officer (SPO) was reportedly forcefully taken away while about to board a boat to Amassoma Jetty.
The electoral officer was supposed to oversee elections at Registration Area-06 (Ossioma) in Sagbama Local government area.
The incident has been reported to security agencies for immediate action.
