INEC Chairman, Prof Attahiru Jega’s Brother Becomes Electoral Body’s Major Contractor!

Alhaji Muhammed Jega, brother to the chairman of the Independent Electoral Commission- Professor Attahiru Jega is presently listed as a major contractor at INEC.

Sources confirmed that the business man operating under the trade name Suab Limited and Al- Shamus Nig Limited is executing a contract that enables him to supply computer and accessories amongst other ‘things’ at INEC.

The arrangement is tagged a ‘ continuous process’ by informants.

Alhaji Muhammed is identified as using the tittle Chairman of the companies he used to secure the contract.

It is believed that his relationship with the
Prof. Jega, INEC Boss chairman of the electoral body- Prof. Jega helped him to facilitate the business arrangement with INEC.

Whether the Inec Chairman directly influenced the process is yet to be ascertained.

Sources confirmed the INEC Chairman’s brother became a contractor at the place when Proff Jega assumed office- and has remained so since.
