Immediate past vice president of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo was at the recent launch of two books on former President Muhammadu Buhari.

The books – Working with Buhari: Reflections of a former Special Adviser to the President, Media & Publicity, penned by Femi Adesina, and Muhammadu Buhari: The Nigerian Legacy, authored by Dr. Udu Yakubu – were launched in Abuja on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

The event attracted a collage of high-power dignitaries including the subject of the books former President Buhari and his successor, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

It was a rare occasion for Osinbajo to share a stage with President Tinubu, the political mentor he competed against

in the an unrealized ambition to succeed Buhari.

Osinbajo who was the Vice President to Buhari – from 2015 to 2023 – on the strength of Tinubu’s political backbone
