In Face Of Massive Defections, Dep Reps Speaker Yusuf Cries Out “Adams Oshiomhole Is Destroying APC”

Yusuf Lasun, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives has declared that chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress Adams Oshiomhole would destroy the party.

“Let me be specific, Comrade Adams Oshiomole is going to destroy the party” Yusuf declared in a recent interview.

He spoke with television station TV Continental.

The chat was the top politician’s first major public speak out on national issues since he lost the bid to secure party ticket as APC gubernatorial candidate in Osun state.

Lasun insists in the face of massive defections rocking his party “I am a member of APC. Nobody can drive me out of APC, I repeat nobody can drive me out of APC.”

Commenting on his loss of the Osun state gubernatorial ticket to Gboyega Oyetola, the aspirant favored by the Governor, he stated “Direct primary was conducted in my state, one week after another form of primary was conducted in another state. ..that chairman will destroy that party. Let me be specific Comrade Adams Oshiomole is going to destroy APC.”

Despite his assertion, he, however, insisted “Nobody can drive me out of APC, rather I will drive people out. I am going to stay here if the APC will collapse let it collapse on all of us”.

The ruling All Progressives Congress is presently witnessing defection of major players including Governors and very influential Senate President Bukola Saraki.

The defecting members allege “raging internal conflict” rocking the APC.
