Politician and former bank chief Abimbola Ashiru just shows he remains extraordinarily close to Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun.

Ashiru, a leading gubernatorial aspirant in Ogun state put aside his ambition to help Abiodun emerge the Governor of Ogun state.

The move was part of the negotiation that saw off fierce opposition from common enemy Ibikunle Amosun and his intimidating structure.

Societynow.ng gathered that since Abiodun inaugurated his new government, Ashiru his yet to get an appointment.

This development has resulted in different shades of talks, conjectures, and interpretations with estrangement and sidelining the focal point of the discussions.

Loyalists of Abiodun insist that the governor is working underground to reward Ashiru with a federal appointment as the gubernatorial aspirant continues to operate outside the government circle.
