Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara, says his decision to leave the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC) is rooted in gratitude and loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whom he credits for his continued stay in office.

Fubara, speaking after a meeting with the president in Abuja and a subsequent engagement with Rivers stakeholders at the Government House in Port Harcourt, said the move represents a collective resolve to stand firmly with the president.
