The woman at the center of one of the reasons for the renewed public anger against embattled Pastor Abiodun Fatoyinbo says the trumpeted accusation was false.

‘’I wasn’t arrested’’ Abimbola Adelakun who many claimed was arrested and detained on the premises of the Common Wealth Of Zion Assembly on Sunday, July 21, 2019, stated.

Abimbola was said to have visited the Abuja head place of Coza as part an investigative journalism initiative.

The news hit the town that Abimbola was arrested and detained at the premises of Coza when she was recognized.

Abiodun Fatoyinbo, the lead pastor at Coza is currently enmeshed in an allegation of rape made against him by Busola, the wife of Singer Timi Dakolo.

The claim that Punch Columnist Abimbola Adelakun was arrested and detained at Coza came at a period the public was feasting on a cry out by Dakolos that they were facing harassment and threats to lives over the allegation made against Pastor Fatoyinbo.

But barely 24hrs after the Punch Columnist alleged arrest and detention at Coza trended, the subject as dispelled the claim as not correct.

In a recent report by Punch, the columnist wrote on her Twitter handle @Adunnibaby “I’m aware of the info abt (about) my arrest at COZA today. I wasn’t arrested. Earlier, I sent out an image bcos (because) I was concerned when pulled aside by the protocol dept(department) for questioning. Thanks to everyone who has been concerned about me. I am sorry for all the misinformation out there.”
