“I Have No Achievements” Lagos Speaker Obasa Declares

Speaker of the Lagos state House of Assembly Rt Honorable Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa says he has no achievements.

“I don’t have any personal achievement” he stated recently while evaluating his tenure as team leader of the state body of lawmakers but was quick to add “this is because whatever I achieve is a collective achievement by all the lawmakers and the house as a whole”.

The speaker was responding to question on his biggest achievement in his present position.

Obasa, however, stated that there are no personal but collective achievements in the Lagos state House of Assembly.

The speaker made the position known on Monday, May 28, 2018, during the third edition of the Lagos Assembly’s performance evaluation session with the media and civil society organizations.

It is to his credit that Speaker Obasa oversees one of the most impactful tenures in the history of the Lagos Assembly – and champion of its political dispensation was the consensus at the Monday Parley by stakeholders present.
