And true to type, the Chairman of the financial service group that is operating in 20 countries across Africa, the United Kingdom, France, UAE, and is the only African bank with a commercial deposit-taking presence in the United States – United Bank for Africa (UBA) chose to celebrate in a manner that has immediate and long term gains for persons, groups, communities, countries and the continent.

Over 1,000 young men and women from all 54 African countries who will each receive a non refundable seed capital of $5,000 to help start their own businesses.

This journey began 10 years ago by Awele and I , with a vision to democratize luck and transform lives across Africa .
