How Probe Into Criminal Allegations Against Notorious Kidnapper Evans In Ghana & Other African Countries Is Stalling His Prosecution

Police sources say it may take a while before notorious kidnapper popularly known as Evans – real names Chukwudimeme Onwuamadike – faces prosecution.

Insiders disclose the delay has roots in ongoing investigation into criminal allegations against him in Ghana and other African countries.

His operations is said to extend beyond Nigeria and believed to be as rich in crime.

Further revelations have it that investigators are also working on the theory that the Evans may actually just be the the face of a more sinister circle of crime operators.

“So detectives are working to bring as much of the players who worked with him as possible into the drag net before kick starting prosecution” a source pointed.

Police spokesperson Jimoh Moshood also insists the force is not under any pressure to prosecute Evans.

He made the assertion as a guest on a African Independent Television Talk Show earlier today.

He also called on Nigerians who have evidences against Evans to come forward and help police with their investigation in a move which shows the police assiduously building a water tight case against the suspect.

“The police are exploring all angles and want to net as much of his accomplice as possible, using a clinical approach” another source stated.

Societynow gathered the evidences are piling up but contrary to a lot of reports on social media space, the investigators are keeping details very guarded.
