How Gov Amosun Scored Major Point In Violent Clash Dapo Abiodun’s Boys Emerged ”Winner”!

Thursday, January 31, 2018, a major violence rock a section of Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun state.

The theatre of war was Abeokuta, north the political base of Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

The fighters were supporters of All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate Dapo Abiodun and those of opposition party, Allied People’s Movement (APM).

APM is the party of choice of Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s preferred successor Adekunle Akinlade.

APM is also home to all loyalists of Amosun denied tickets to contest the general election by the All Progressives Congress in the course of the failed move to stop Dapo Abiodun from becoming APC gubernatorial candidate in Ogun state.

Amosun who remains a chieftain of the APC – and is contesting a Senatorial seat on the platform of the party – is passionately promoting APM in Ogun state with state’s resources.

The clash at the Governor’s political base was meant to test the street strengths of the APC and APM supporters in Amosun’s base.

But the governor reportedly lost the fight in a manner that scored a masterstroke against the political ambition of Dapo Abiodun.

Societynow.ng confirmed that after firing the first salvo and brief entangle through the street goons of Micky Kazzim, the APM House of Representatives candidate campaigning in the area at the same time Abiodun’s campaign train was also on ground, the APM thugs and supporters withdrew from the engagement.

Amosun with that move just proved he is throwing everything he has got – both stealth and strength – into the battle to stop Abiodun from becoming the next governor of Ogun state.
