How Fuji King, Wasiu Ayinde Lost Bid To Make Manager Bayo Olasoju Lagos Council Chairman
After heavy investment and tons of campaign spanning over three years, Fuji King Wasiu Ayinde Anifowoshe lost the bid to make his manager, Adebayo Olasoju council chairman.
Wasiu had grand plan to make Olasoju chairman of Isolo Council area of Lagos state.
The move which would have officially kick started the reign of the leader of his genre of music as a political godfather in Lagos was cut short before it reached the polls societynow gathered.
“Olasoju was told to go and become the running mate of the man eventually selected” a source stated.
Even this required a lot of pressure and intense lobbying before it scaled through insiders revealed.
Higher political interests were said to have passionately lobbied against the Fuji king also hailed as Kwam 1 – and his anointed candidate.
The same “interests” reportedly forced the king of Fuji to abandon his personal political ambition in the past.
