Ogun state commissioner for information Dayo Adeneye just suffered a heavy loss – politically.

Insiders disclosed to societynow.ng that his name has been yanked off the list of All Progressives Congress flag bearers for the 2019 general election.

Adeneye was given the ticket for a State House of Assembly slot by Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

The former Primetime Entertainment boss got the slot after he failed to secure a Federal House of Representatives ticket initially promised by the governor.

No Reps Ticket For Dayo Adeneye Despite Gov Amosun’s Promise

“He was given the House Assembly ticket by the governor as a compensation” societynow.ng confirmed.

Emerging details however revealed that the compensatory party ticket has been taken away from Adeneye by the National Working Committee of the APC.

The investigation conducted by societynow.ng revealed this development is the fallout of Adeneye’s loyalty in the face of the Governor’s face off with party chairman Adams Oshiomhole over who gets the Ogun state gubernatorial ticket.

Amosun is currently on losing side of the battle, and Adeneye has joined the list of causalities with the loss of his Ogun State House of Assembly party ticket.
