How Dangote Gets Insurance Companies To Take On His Trucks Despite Very High Risk Involved

Societynow.ng’s investigation revealed that there is an unspoken rule in the insurance industry – avoid Dangote Trucks.

Dangote Trucks are the fleet owned by Dangote Group the multinational industrial conglomerate founded by one of Africa’s richest men, Aliko Dangote.

Though those in the know confirmed that, there are some of the trucks owned by other persons but operating under the Dangote trade –  carrying out company services – based on ” certain arrangements”.

 

Insiders disclosed that this as a result of the high risk – occasioned by constant accidents – involved in taking on the business .

‘’You have to brace yourself very well, even as a man to stomach the pictures from their accidents scenes…Most insurance companies don’t want to touch their(Dangote Group’s) fleet business’’ societynow.ng learned.

The accidents are said to be even more grave outside of the cities.

‘’The statistics do not favor Insurance companies taking on Dangote Trucks’’ societynow.ng gathered.

The added information available to societynow.ng revealed that what the billionaire and his team at Dangote group devised to escape a general boycott is that ‘’if you want to undertake the insurance for their other businesses like marine, building, warehouse, staff insurance you must also take their ‘high risk’ fleet insurance’’.

Societynow.ng learned this is the ploy that has kept the accident-prone trucks on the books of insurers.
