The dust raised by the arrest of popular actor Olanrewaju James Omiyinka,48, for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor has refused to die down.

His chief accuser entertainer Princess (Princess Adekola Adekanye) has revealed more details of the allegations against the actor currently in police detention.

Princess has set the record straight that the actor popularly known as Baba Ijesha did not sexually assault the 14years old victim for 7years but first perpetrated the act 7years ago.

Baba Ijesha got arrested when he was baited with the victim 7years later and got caught – on camera – at the princess’ residence. The same place he defiled the then 7year old victim.

Popular actress Iyabo Ojo – a victim of sexual molestation and rape – claimed to have seen the video of the incident and declared it corroborates the allegation against Baba Ijesha.

Iyabo Ojo’s verdict comes in the face of an attempt by another actor Yomi Fabiyi to play down the allegation against embattled Baba Ijesha.

The jury is still out the development that has left many shocked as Baba Ijesha awaits his day in court.

However,according to the information available to societynow.ng – posted by a lawyer -, Rape, the allegation against Baba Ijesha is defined as intentional penetration of the vigina, anus or mouth of another person with any part of his/her body or any object, without the person’s permission or through force, threats, tricks and deceit, that person has committed the offence of Rape and liable on conviction to life in prison. The person’s name will be registered on sex offenders lists and same will be made open to the public.

The lawyer noted that the accused may escape facing life in prison based on the charge the arraignment is made.

He explained “Depending on what court he is taken to and what law the charge is brought under. If it is the Child’s Right Act, it is life imprisonment, if under Administration of Criminal Justice Law, it is 14years” in prison if found guilty.
