Hidden Details As Communication Minister Adebayo Shittu Moves Family Out Of Abuja

Information reaching societynow.ng revealed Minister of Communication, Adebayo Shittu has moved his immediate family out of the Federal Capital City, Abuja.

“They now reside in Ibadan” a source stated.

The investigation conducted by societynow.ng showed the development came to be a couple of weeks back.

Details available to societynow.ng revealed that Shittu’s family now resides at his private residence in Samonda area of Ibadan, Oyo state.

Shittu is from Oyo state.

The minister reportedly carried out “a bit of renovation” at his Ibadan home before relocating his family there, insiders disclosed.

Before the relocation, societynow.ng learned that the minister’s immediate family resided with him in one of his choice properties in Abuja.

Societynow.ng gathered that the minister moving his family to Ibadan may not be unconnected with whispers in the corridors of power that he would not be retained in the new cabinet of re-elected President Muhammadu Buhari.

Shittu is contending with allegation of skipping the mandatory one year National Youth Service Corps programme.

The allegation got him screened out of contention for the gubernatorial ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Oyo state.

The President is said to have told Shittu – married to Hajia Ameenah – that he can’t reappoint him as a minister with the scandal hanging on his neck.

Societynow.ng gathered outside of the scandal, Shittu faces strong threats from Governor Abiola Ajimobi and gubernatorial candidate Bayo Adelabu who are lobbying hard to take over his position.

“And, these are politicians with far more influential backers than Shittu” a source stated.
