Tayo Ayinde, the Chief of Staff to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is one of the powerful figures in the current administration in charge of Lagos State.

Ayinde for a former Secret police officer draws his influence from extraordinary closeness to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Societynow.ng gathered that Ayinde’s enviable rapport with the powerful politician has provided him a strong voice on the streets based on interaction with MC Oluomo (Musiliu Akinsanya), Seego (Mustapha Adekunle), and other top members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Lagos State.

Ayinde’s relationship with MC Oluomo and Seego is said to be so robust that they have a special nickname for him.

‘’They call him Buffalo’’ societynow.ng.

Sources disclosed that the nickname is the fallout of Ayinde’s doggedness and tenacity of purpose when faced with challenges and strategic thinking in turning around situations.

‘’Ayinde’s quick thinking and native sense in dealing with situations earned him the Buffalo tag’’ societynow.ng learned.

The checks by societynow.ng revealed that Buffalo – the African variety – the animal whose name has become a badge of honor for Ayinde on the streets is described by Wikipedia as ‘’… one of the big five is that they were considered to be one of the most dangerous species to hunt. When hunted by humans, buffalo have a reputation for circling back on their pursuers and counter attacking.’’

NURTW top men MC Oluomo and Seego who gave Ayinde special nickname double as leaders of Tinubu’s street muscles.

‘’They are first and foremost anything and everything Tinubu before any other thing. They owe their current positions as NURTW chairman (MC Oluomo) and Treasurer (Sego) to Tinubu’s clout and in turn, they protect the interests of the powerful politician on the street’’ societynow.ng.

The interests of Ayinde, MC Oluomo, and Seego align based on keen loyalty to Asiwaju Tinubu.
