Hallmarks Of Labour Foundation Honours Outstanding Nigerians
to commemorate its 27th anniversary
The Hallmarks of Labour Foundation (HLF) recently hosted a distinguished gathering at the prestigious Lagos Oriental Hotel to commemorate its 27th anniversary and present the Great Nigerian Awards.
The event was attended by creme de la creme of the society, foundation members and distinguished awardees from various sectors.
Speaking at the event, Chief Mrs Patricia Dede, the executive secretary of the foundation, said, “we believe that every country has their share of men and women, who have made their marks and left their footprints on the sands of time: their achievements are not always adequately rewarded. We at hallmarks foundation believe that that situation should be corrected. We believe that there should be a protocol where people can serve this country or any country diligently and should have their names engraved for generations and the world to come to be familiar with it”.
Over the past 27 years, hallmarks foundation has been pivotal in promoting the culture of social responsibility, striving to inspire future generations. The foundation is convinced that exemplary men and women who against all odds embrace hard work and integrity still exist, hence, the reason for the Great Nigerian Awards.
Award categories included the “HLF Role Model Award” (in the field of science), “HLF Life-TIME Achievement Award” for Exemplary/Courageous service to the Advancement of our Legal System, “HLF Christopher Kolade Award” for Excellence in Leadership and Professionalism in the Media, “HLF Young Achievers Award” for the Best Performing School in WASSCE, 2023, amongst others.
Adding to the evening’s splendor, students of the Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON) graced the stage with a beautiful orchestra performance, captivating the audience.
The event was sponsored by MTN Nigeria, highlighting their commitment to celebrating excellence and promoting positive social change.
