Guber Candidate Adelabu Shocks Party Leaders With 100 Sienna Buses In Oyo

Gubernatorial candidate Adebayo Adelabu is the talking point in the politics of Oyo state.

The former Central Bank top shot is said to have dazed party leaders – and supporters – in the state with gifts currently rocking their world.

The Gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress reportedly doled out 100 (One hundred ) Toyota Sienna buses to the state chapter of APC.

Insiders disclosed to societynow.ng that Adelabu gave each of the 33 local governments in Oyo state 3 buses each.

‘’He kept the remaining one for a yet to be identified party leader’’ societynow.ng learned.

The buses are said to be decorated with Adelabu’s name and the name and logo of his political party – APC.

The grandson of Adegoke Adelabu of the popular politician of the Penkelemesi (Peculiar Mess) fame is estimated to have shelled out not less than N200million to acquire the buses.

‘’The Sienna buses are 2010 editions of the automobile but not brand new from the factory. They are Tokunbo (fairly used)’’ a source disclosed.

Societynow.ng gathered that a Tokunbo brand of the Toyota product goes for about N2.3million in open market.
