Governor Seriake Dickson Ban Ifeanyi Ubah’s TAN Campaign In Bayelsa State
Governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson jut wielded the big hammer on Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, the recently sidelined organisation campaigning for the re election of President Goodluck Jonathan.
The state headman has banned the activities of the body widely known as TAN with capital oil boss, Ifeanyi Ubah as promoter in his state.

This development was effected through a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary of the Governor, Danie Iwariso – Mrkson.
The communication read in part ‘Those claiming to be campaigning for the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan but are instead engaged in promoting subversive activities and inciting crisis and division within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state will have to move their activities elsewhere
‘The activities of TAN and the other groups, if not checked, could be counter-productive, especially with the presidential and other elections, only a few weeks away, adding that he has the mandate of Bayelsans to protect the stability, peace and security of the state.’
The statement while confirming the planned campaign of the President in the state on Thursday Febuary 2, emphasised that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is the only recognized political structure saddled with the responsibility of leading Jonathan’s campaign in the state.
This development comes just days reports Mr Ubah and his TAN campaigners have fallen out of favour with Mr Jonathan and his handlers over developments takes points off efforts at a successful re election campaign.
