The Governor of Lagos state, Babatunde Raji Fashola led the campaign train of his All Progressives Congress candidate for the upcoming gubernatorial election, Akinwunmi Ambode to a rousing welcome and arresting attendance in Apapa on Friday January 17 2015.

The campaign train was led by executive governor of Lagos state, Babatunde Raji Fashola .

Governor Fashola presented his earmarked successor in person ofAkinwumi Ambode to the delight of the mammoth crowd and shouts of Ambooo rented the air.

Describing the candidate many came out to show love to as a tested and trusted hand who had equally worked with him for six years, Fashola urged the mammoth crowd that trooped out to welcome the campaign train to vote massively for Amode and APC.

He futher labeled Ambode is a brilliant and sound mind and that together with his youthfulness, would surely take Lagos to greater level of performance.

Fashola emphasized that experience is better than experiment, that Ambode is the man that can do the job on hand and urged Lagosians of voting age to go and collect their permanent voting card (PVC) and vote wisely for Akinwunmi Ambode and All progressive party (APC)candidates in the coming election to achieve greater successes.

He mainatined that, his experience in government as a former accountant general of the state prepared him for the top Lagos job, and promised not to let Lagosians down with the good will reposed in him. He rounding off with assertions ‘I will build on existing feat and even do more.

Chief Henry Ajomale, Chairman All progressive party ,Lagos chapter in his address emphasised that Lagos has been lucky to have young and brilliant people at the helm of affair and praised the intellectual capacity of National leader of the party Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that produced Fashola who did not disappoint, and now Akin Ambode,whom he described as educated, experienced and a young man with a lot of energy and zeal to consolidate on the present achievements of Governor Fashola.
