Fuji King Wasiu Ayinde Anifowoshe ” KWAM1″ is ending the year on a sad note.

The musician decorated with the title of Mayegun General by Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adedibu adds yet another unwanted record in a year decorated with multiple scandals.

The supposed role model was the entertainer on the bandstand at the party labeled the most reckless exhibition of mindless risk in the face of the fight against Covid-19.

Kwam 1 as fondly called by fans and friends was on the bandstand, praise-singing at the party that shunned all Covid-19 safety measures which held on December 26, 2020 – Boxing Day.

Trending videos of the event has earned the sixty-something-year-old singer “huge backlash”.

Lagos state government reacted to the flagrant disobedience of its directive in the fight against Covid-19 by revoking the operating license of the venue of the event, Queen’s Park, Oniru.

This development is in the face of calls for the sanction of Wasiu Ayinde, a senior musician and known member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) – who should know better.

The embattled musician is believed to have moved out of Lagos state to his country home and maintained a sealed lip for the anger over risking the health of the public for commercial gain to blow over.

This development creams other scandals that doused Kwam 1 in 2020.

The highlights of the musician’s unwanted records for the outgoing year include slapping the head of a photographer for disturbing him on stage, alleged beyond the ordinary rapport with one of the young wives of the Alaafin of Oyo, and the beating of broadcaster MC Murphy at one of his engagements.
