Former Gov Reveals How Far Southeast Is Willing To Get Presidency In 2023

A former governor has revealed how far the southeast is willing to secure the presidency in 2023.

Chikwuemeka Ezeife, the former Governor of Anambra state made the disclosure on Saturday, December 4, 2021.

“I found Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, and other groups in this place talking about the need for federal character.

“If you do it that way, there will be unity if there is fairness, equity, justice, you will have unity and progress, in the absence of those, you see what we are now.” Ezeife stated at the United For Better Nigeria Initiative national convention which was staged in Abuja.

The Igbo leader who also spoke about the great potentials in the country, how the Igbos have contributed to the nation’s growth as well as the need to give them a chance to develop the country by conceding the Presidency to the zone ahead the 2023 election asserted that, though it is not in the culture of his ethnic group to prostrate “but this time, we are prepared to kneel down to every part of Nigeria, every group, every ethnic group in Nigeria.

“We are prepared to even prostrate because we believe in this country”
