Renowned businessman and former managing director of Guaranty Trust Bank Afolabi Adeola just took a political decision, informed sources told societynow.ng.

According to information, the seasoned banker has quietly dropped his support for the ruling party All Progressives Congress.

Findings showed the move was perfected in this manner because he is not ready to face any backlash that may follow, an insider stated.

Checks by societynow.ng revealed the wealthy banker and one-time vice presidential candidate of Action Congress – later transformed to Action Congress Of Nigeria -has pitched his tent with KOWA party.

Action Congress Of Nigeria is one the political parties that formed the now ruling party All Progressive Congress.

KOWA Party is a less popular party with Sina Fagbenro-Byron as its presidential candidate.

Further digs revealed him to be the chairman Board of Trustee of the party obviously trying to find its feet in the scheme of things ahead of 2019 general elections.
