Finally, Abiodun’s Men Share Photo Of Gov In “Good Rapport” With Senator Yayi
After a prolonged spell of absence
It appears the ice has been broken in the alleged conflict between Governor Dapo Abiodun and Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola.
After a prolonged spell of absence, the media handlers of Governor Abiodun resumed posting his pictures with Senator Adeola on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
A picture of the Senator, famously known as Yayi, in a handshake with Governor Abiodun was featured in a collage of images from the 38th annual Akesan Day celebration held in Iperu, Ikenne Local Government, on Saturday.

It is the first time since talks of conflict between them became topical that Abiodun’s men have shared a photo depicting the Governor and the Senator in such “a good rapport.”
Iperu, a part of Ogun East where the celebration took place and the picture taken, is the hometown of the Governor.

Adeola, who is the Senator representing Ogun West, attended the event along with a team of 45 influential Senators across different geopolitical zones and political divides, including Senate Majority Leader Opeyemi Bamidele and ranking Senator Ali Ndume.
The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, also attended the event.

While talks of conflicts raged, Senator Adeola Yayi unrelentingly insisted he remained on good terms with the Governor. But Abiodun turned a deaf ear.
The Senator is a front-runner in the race to determine the next Governor of Ogun State, with Abiodun keen on breaking records as the first Governor to get a desired successor.
The Governor is earmarked to leave office in 2027 after serving two terms of four years each.
