Former brewery boss, Mr Festus Odimegwu wants to take over new club, Chrome.

And to show the seriousness of his intention, he is said to be consulting with stakeholders in the enterprise.

Chrome is the result of rebranding of fun place, Tribecca with new partner and cash inflow.

Sources divulged that as part of moves to take over the Adetokunbo Ademola, Victoria Island Lagos house of leisure Odimegwu is relying heavily on the support of key player and major stake holder in the business, Charles Ahize.

And the latter is said to be very much disposed to the idea.

They are said to have made an over of ten million naira to new partner, Akindele to take care of the money he has invested so far and make him reduce his stake in the business.

Ladi’s disposition to the development against the background of speculations of not having a binding contract with other partners in Chrome is not clear at press.

Informants further revealed that if Odimegwu has his way- he intends to bring in a grounded club manager to oversee operations at the place.

He would also have to close down Club Q that he uses crowd mobiliser, Richard Nnaji as a front for.

Odumegwu is said to have given the reason that, he wants to team up with grounded player in the night life business to ‘do something fantastic’ as the major pointerfor wanting to invest in Chrome.

Unconfirmed sources claim there is more to it than this.

The fun spot attracting all this attention was declared open on Friday June 10 2011.
