Father Mbaka’s Speaks On Allegation Of Supervising “Thorough Beating Of Journalists” In His Compound

Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu state, Father Ejike Mbaka has reacted to allegations of supervising the thorough beating of journalists in his compound.

The accusation was made against the fiery clergy by BCC.

The BBC reported that its crew was on Wednesday physically assaulted by some persons in Mbaka’s house under the preacher’s supervision.

Adline Okere, the BBC head of Igbo Service insists that even the team that accompanied a priest, Rev Fr Cajethan Obiekezie was also beaten up because of an earlier interview that Fr Obiekezie had granted BBC, derogatory to Fr Mbaka.

Okere disclosed that assaulted victims who came from Lagos were chased out of Enugu.

But reacting to the development on behalf of Father Mbaka – his media person, Maximus Ugwoke in a report monitored by societynow.ng on vanguard asserted that “I doubt if it’s true. Fr couldn’t have done that kind of a thing. Is this the first time he granted interviews to journalists?”

The spokesperson further claimed that “. I am not privy to these things and I am not aware that it happened. What I am doing now is to find out if such a thing happened. Until I reach father before I would know if such a thing happened.”
