Emerging details have it that the former Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) Tunde Fowler is undergoing another round of questioning by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Fowler was reportedly at the office of the commission today, Monday, November 16, 2020, to shed light on investigators’ area of interests as part of a probe into allegations involving him according to the information monitored on thewitnessngr.com.

The EFCC is investigating multiple allegations against Fowler that involve his tenure as the boss of the Lagos State Internal Revenue and spell as the Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service.

He has been invited and grilled by EFCC agents multiple times in the last couple of days with today’s round of questioning just another.

There are talks that the EFCC investigation includes interests in “certain payments” he authorized and “discovered funds”.
