Residents and visitors to Ekiti state are experiencing serious agony.

The raging fight between Governor of the state, Ayodele Fayose and petroleum marketers is taking a huge toll on them.

Petroleum marketers have shut down service stations over governor Fayose’s vow not to allow any of their businesses located in residential areas to operate.

The state cheif executive claims protection of lives and properties in the state as reasons.

The petroleum marketers allege victimisation and refuse to service the state until the governor reverse his decision.

The governor has vowed never.

The impasse between the two parties has resulted in huge scarcity of petrol in the state.

And put residents and visitors at the receiving end.

It has ballooned the cost of businesses and living in the state.
