EFCC Speaks On Claims Of N1M Reward For Arrest Of Yahoo Boys

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has reacted to claims of offering rewards for the arrest of internet fraudsters popularly known as “Yahoo Boys” or “Yahoo Yahoo Boys”

“Disregard this and treat it as FAKE NEWS!” the agency posted on its verified social media page along with cover of a national daily newspaper with the caption “If you have a yahoo yahoo boy as family, friend, or relative, kindly hand them over to us, and get a massive reward of N1million”.

The agency has been rocked with protests over its manner of operation in recent times with the leadership tagging the development blackmail by those at the receiving end of its good works.
