EcoBank Sells Of Branch Office For N450m

Inside information revealed, financial institution Eco Bank has done away with one of it’s branches.

The outlet in question is disclosed as situated on plum area of Lagos mainlaind, Adeniyi Jones.

Sources confirmed the sale was made to network marketing company, Edmark.

Information sourced from news breaker thelight disclosed the transaction was made at the price around N450M.

Added information obtained revealed the arrangement was concluded weeks back.

Those who should know labelled it ‘good business for the bank’ looking purely at the profit involved.

A business analyst however posits ‘when a supposed solid enterprises begins to sell it’s properties…it sends wrong signals and for an institution that relies heavily on image of solid financial footing to do and attract business…it doesn’t add up’

More revelations have it that the purchasing outfit plans to utilise the land for a proposed ‘mega plaza’.

The buyer is sale to have acquired an adjoining plot of land to the bought Ecobank property towards this end.

It is not clear yet what arrangement Ecobank has made to move it’s business for the convenience of those with accounts domicile at the sold branch – and retain the patronage of customers who find it convenient to make use of the place.
