Diri Inspects Ongong Projects, Assures Delivery Dates Will Not Change

Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri today, inspected some ongoing projects in the state.

Projects inspected include, Yenagoa-Oporoma road, Akaba-Okodi road, Glory Drive imgbi link bridge, Polaku-Sabagreia road and the 25,000-seater stadium.

Governor Diri in his remarks, expressed satisfaction at the level of work done on the various projects, while assuring Bayelsans of timely delivery of the projects.

“All our projects are going on well, and the delivery dates have not also changed.

The contractors are all doing well and we are very satisfied. I commend them for putting in their best, and I believe that at the end of the day, we will be able to deliver our objectives to the people of Bayelsa State”, Governor Diri stated.

The governor was accompanied on the inspection by ESV Moses Teibowei, Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Mandy Akpalo, Commissioner for Special Duties, Central, Brigadier General Eric Angaye (Rtd), Security Coordinator and Coordinator of the state Community Safety Corps and other top government officials.
