Diri Decorates Newly Promoted Police Officers
including those attached to the Government House with their new ranks.
Bayelsa state governor, Senator Douye Diri, today decorated five newly promoted police officers in the state including those attached to the Government House with their new ranks.
Performing the ceremony at Government House, Yenagoa, Governor Diri noted that their promotion was a product of hard work and remains a call to more excellent service.
The governor also thanked the leadership of the State command of the Nigerian police force for collaborating with the state government to maintain peace in the state.
The newly promoted officers include Sylvester Eseimokumo Ebakumo, Provost, Government House, who is now a Chief Superintendent of Police, Ifidi Ebitimi Henry, Admin Officer, promoted from Deputy Superintendent of Police to Superintendent of Police; Mohammed Yusuf, Governor’s Convoy Escort Commander, promoted from Assistant Superintendent of Police to Deputy Superintendent of Police; ASP Musa Mohammed, State Police Public Relations Officer, promoted to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police and ASP Udonne Imo Emmanuel, also now Deputy Superintendent of Police.
