There is confirmation that Ramoni Abbas Olohunwa better known as Hushpuppi will not serve jail term in the United States of America if convicted after pleading guilty in his trial for fraud – all things being equal.

Hushpuppi arrested in June 2020 at the very expensive penthouse apartment at the Palazzo Versace Dubai – that he turned into a permanent residence – is being held in Los Angeles as his trial for fraud across different countries causes ripples home and abroad.

The deportation will be after his prison term in an American prison facility.

According to the report, the court papers have it that “if the defendant is not a United States citizen, the conviction in this case makes it practically inevitable and a virtual certainty that the defendant will be removed or deported from the United States. Defendant may also be denied United States citizenship and admission to the United States in the future.”

Neusroom.ng in the report seen by societynow.ng disclosed that an official source confirmed that Hushpuppi who mindlessly spent the ill-gotten wealth on luxury items and extravagant living may likely be deported if convicted.

A separate check by societynow.ng revealed that the infamous individual who defrauded many using the disingenuous Business Email Compromise and other illegitimate antics with the help of accomplices in different parts of the world has acquired the citizenship of another country.

According to the details available, he used some of the proceeds of his criminal enterprise which netted him millions of dollars to get himself the citizenship of St. Christopher and Nevis, an island nation equally known as St.Kitts and Nevis.

“That makes him a citizen of Nigeria and St.Kitts and Nevis and by implication very likely be sent to either of this country after his prison term in the U.S” societynow.ng learned.

The fraudster who has given up his accomplices in admitting his guilt as part of a plea bargain faces up to 20years in jail if convicted.
