Two people have been killed in an attack on one of the residences of the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma.
Societynow.ng gathered that the attack was carried out by armed men who attacked the residence of the Governor located in Omuma, Oru East Local Government area of Imo State.
Sources disclosed the attacker who invaded the place early morning today, April 24, 2021 set it on fire.
A report monitored by societynow.ng on newswirengr.com revealed that security agents guarding the fled in the face of the intensity of attack by the armed men attired in all black.
The Governor was not at the place at the time of the tragic incident.
Reports here and there showed that the attackers targeted high value properties in the residence including Governor Uzodinma’s Rolls Royce.
