Photos As Christians Gather In Imo For Christmas Carol

In Imo, the Eastern heartland, the air was filled with the spirit of joy and hope as Christians gathered at Ndubuisi Kanu Square Owerri to celebrate the timeless story of the birth of Christ.

In the festive atmosphere, the Imo State Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma

extended warm wishes to people of all faiths, fostering a sense of togetherness that transcended religious boundaries.

Governor Uzodimma who took to the podium to address the citizens, emphasized the importance of compassion, understanding, and communal harmony.

He envisioned a state where diversity was celebrated, and individuals from different backgrounds could coexist peacefully.

This year’s Christmas carol, had various choirs, congregational members, religious leaders, dignitaries and enthusiastic Imolites in attendance, singing praises and beautiful hymns to the Lord.

The Governor was accompanied by his wife, Barr Mrs Chioma Uzodimma, the Deputy Governor, Professor Placid Njoku, the Deputy Governor-elect, Lady Mrs Chinyere Ekomaru, her husband, and other Government officials.
