Details: Traditional Ruler Settles Famous Fight Between Kwam1 & MC Murphy

A traditional ruler has made peace between the reigning king of Fuji music Wasiu Ayinde Anifowoshe better known as Kwam 1 and broadcaster MC Murphy ( real name Wole Sorunke).

Olu of Itori, Oba Akorede Akamo brokered the peace today, Thursday October 8, 2020.

Interestingly, it was at the 60th birthday celebration of Oba Akamo on Thursday, October 1, 2020, that MC Murphy alleged Kwam1 and his boys assaulted him.

Kwam 1 denied the allegation but MC Murphy stood by his claim.

The Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBAN) took up the matter on behalf of MC Murphy who is a member.

FIBAN waged a media war against Kwam1 and campaigned for the Alaafin of Oyo Oba Lamidi Adeyemi to revoke his Mayegun – General of Yoruba land title.

‘’But Oba Akamo has turned all that into yesterday’s news with the peace he brokered today with all parties in attendance’’ societynow.ng learned.

Societynow.ng learned that the peace meeting had Kwam1, MC Murphy, and members of Fiban in attendance.

Kwam was the official musician at the 60th birthday of Olu of Itoro Ewekoro area of Ogun State.

MC Murphy tried to leverage long standing relationship with the musician to get him praise sing one of his clients, the response he got resulted in snide comments against the reigning king of Fuji music.

MC Murphy claimed Kwam1 and his boys attacked him over this development and he was heavily assaulted but the fuji musician claimed he never laid a hand on the broadcaster.
