Details: Tinubu’s Daughter Folashade – Ojo To Introduce Iyaloja- General’s Ticket At Lagos Markets

Details filtering in have it that the Iyaloja General of Lagos State Folashade Tinubu – Ojo is about to introduce a new levy on Traders.

Societynow.ng gathered that level would come in the form of issuance of a ticket tagged ‘’Iyaloja’s ticket’’.

It will be handled by different Iyalojas and Babalojas in Lagos State with the office of the Iyaloja – General as chief coordinator.

Folashade Tinubu – Ojo, the daughter of the power piloting the affairs of Lagos State behind the scene, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the sole administrator of the Office of Iyaloja General.

The Iyaloja (Iya Oloja) is the woman leader of a particular market while the Babaja (Baba Oloja) is her male counterpart. The Iyaloja – General (Iya Oloja General ) is the leader of all the markets combined.

Societynow.ng learned that the Iyaloja ticket aims to serve as a source of revenue to enable the office of the Iyaloja – General to be more independent and allow it to embark on more projects that will uplift markets in Lagos State.

It is, however, yet to be confirmed whether the tickets will be issued per trader, stall, or block in the markets.

Insiders, however, disclosed that the new levy is not something the traders are looking forward to based on the numbers of direct and indirect taxes they bear.
