President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reshuffled the list of Minister-designates.

The changes in allocated ministries were announced on Sunday, August 20, 2023.

Some of the changes see Abubakar Momoh moved from the Federal Ministry of Youth to the Federal Ministry of Niger Delta Development.

 Adegboyega Oyetola redeployed as the Minister of Marine & Blue Economy from the Ministry of Transportation.

Bunmi Tunji-Ojo formerly listed as Minister Of Marine and Blue Economy takes charge of the Interior Ministry.

While Sa’idu Alkali has been shifted from the Ministry of Interior to become Minister of Transportation.

Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity announced the changes on Sunday.

Added information has it that the Ministers of State in the Oil & Gas sector are now under the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources.

The statement by Ngelale disclosed that President Tinubu who approved the renaming of the Federal Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management as the Federal Ministry of Environment also affirmed the naming of Heineken Lokpobiri as the Minister of State (Oil), Petroleum Resources, and Ekperipe Ekpo as the Minister of State (Gas), Petroleum Resources
