Singer Lekan Agbeleshebioba better known by the stage name Laycon has made a passionate plea to the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun.

Laycon, 27, made the plea to Abiodun yesterday, July 22, 2021, at his hometown in Odeda, Ogun State.

Governor Abiodun, 61, was in Odeda as part of the statewide campaigns for the candidates of his party, All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Local Government Election scheduled for Saturday, July 24, 2021.

Laycon acted as the representative of the Youths of Odeda and made a plea to the Governor on behalf of the indigenes on the urgent need of his state societynow.ng learned.

Laycon who was given N5million and 3Bedroom and made a Youth Ambassador by Abiodun as the winner of the 2020 edition of controversial Big Brother Naija – Outside of his N30million grand prize and other perks – begged the Governor to provide “transformers for electricity and good roads” in the rural area.

The singer who became active in the music industry in 2016 disclosed that his request his based on interactions with the traditional ruler of Odeda and other stakeholders.

Societynow.ng gathered that the Governor who is in his second year in office promised that visible manifestation that the request has been granted will start manifesting about two weeks.

Abiodun was in Odeda along with his Chief of Staff Shaib Salisu, Commissioner for Health Tomi Coker, former Senator Gbenga Obadara and other big wigs to drum support for APC chairmanship candidate Adeyemi Waliat Folashade and her Vice Nasiru Yaya Adigun.
