Details, Pictures As NBC Director Bows Out

It was a Joyous celebration, On Monday 27th March 2023, as the Management and Staff of the National Broadcasting Commission celebrated Mr. Boniface Nwafe Ekwealor, Director, Finance and Accounts as he retires after 30 years of meritorious service in the NBC and Nigeria.

At a Valedictory session held in his honour, the Director General, National Broadcasting Commission, Mall. Balarabe Shehu Ilelah, described Mr. Ekwealor as humble and very efficient in the discharge of his duties . He also described him as a rare- gem who has lived a very worthy public meritorious service life.

Mr. Ekwealor has contributed immensely to the job of the NBC with the unique quality he possess said the DG, while wishing him the very best in the years ahead as he retires.

The messages of goodwill for Mr. Boniface Ekwealor highlighted his exceptional personal qualities and professional skills, as attested by his colleagues both prior to and following the end of his service at the Commission.

Appreciating the Management and Staff of the Commission for the honour given him, Mr. Ekwealor expressed his profound gratitude for the kind words and well wishes, while thanking God for keeping him hale and hearty throughout his years of service at the Commission.

The outgoing Director, Finance and Accounts, urged staff to be committed, dedicated and hardworking in carrying out their duties. He also advised staff to continue coexisting peacefully and in unity for the betterment and growth of the Commission.

Mr. Boniface Nwafe Ekwealor was one of the pioneer staff of the NBC.

The Management and Staff of the National Broadcasting Commission wishes him all the best in his retirement from public service. He will be fondly remembered as we seek to continue building on the legacy he has left behind.
