Otunba Iyiola Omisore is in pains.

Societynow.ng gathered the leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress are refusing to honor the main agreement the party brokered with Omisore to get the Social Democratic Party’s backing in winning the Osun Gubernatorial election.

Omisore, the candidate of the SDP threw his weight behind the APC and its candidate, Oyetola against People’s Democratic Party’s Demola Adeleke in a rerun election to determine the winner of the fierce gubernatorial contest.

APC was forced into a deal with Omisore in order to beat PDP which was leading the contest.

The deal for Omisore and his SDP to back APC’s Oyetola was struck with the former Senator by a high power delegation of the ruling party.

The delegation included national chairman Adams Oshiomhole, Governor-Elect Kayode Fayemi, Governor Ibikunle Amosun, and others.

Societynow.ng gathered with its aim achieved it looks APC is about ditch Omisore for good.

“The deal includes Omisore getting the ticket of the party for a return to the Senate but that is not happening” a source disclosed.

Societynow.ng gathered the Senatorial ticket promised to Omisore has been handed to Ajibola Famurewa, a former two-term Federal House of Representatives member and hardcore loyalist of Governor Rauf Aregbesola.

Insiders disclosed that to compound Omisore’s woes, the parties that struck the deal with him on behalf of the APC are at war.

Governor Amosun who played a huge part in the whole affair is currently prosecuting the battle of his life in the face of dwindling influence.

Amosun is accusing all other players in his party of conspiracy against him.

“The situation certainly does not favour Omisore and it appears the expression he got served is very appropriate for his situation right now” a source asserted.
